Our Web Design Process

• Consultation: Every design we create at Designs By Tabitha begins with a FREE consultation between the client and Designs By Tabitha to determine the type of web site needed. The consultation may take place over the phone, through e-mail or face to face. The more we understand your organization or business, the more equipped we are to design a web site that best suits your purpose on the internet.



• 20% Deposit of Web Design Package Due: Before beginning any web design work, Designs By Tabitha requires a deposit of 20% of the total Web Design Package cost. (View our web design packages .)
  
  
• Draft of Main Web Page: After determining the type of site you need, we will go to work to create a design draft for the main page of your website. Creating the draft usually takes between 1 to 2 weeks. Once the draft is complete, the designer will present the draft to the client by e-mail.



• Revising the Draft: This is the time that the client decides what changes should be made to the draft. These changes are submitted to Designs By Tabitha over the phone or via e-mail. (All changes must be submitted within one week immediately after Designs By Tabitha presents the draft to the client.) Once these changes are made, any additional changes to the draft will be charged by the normal hourly rate of the designer.



• Developing the Web Site: Once the revision to the draft has been completed, Designs By Tabitha will begin developing the remainder pages based on the initial consultation and any other recommendations that were discussed during the draft revision. Developing the Web Site takes up to 2 weeks. Once the web site has been developed, the designer will present the web site to the client to be tested over the internet by e-mail.



• Final Revision to the Web Site: This is the time that the client tests the web site and submits any changes for the website to the designer. (All changes must be submitted within one week immediately after Designs By Tabitha presents the completed web site to the client.) Once these changes are made, any additional changes to the web site will be charged by the normal hourly rate of Designs By Tabitha.



• Publishing Your Web Site: After all revisions are made, your web site is ready to be published on the World Wide Web.



• Final Payment Due: Once your web site has been published on the Internet, final payment for the Web Design Package is due and can also be paid online here .
